This was an interesting little piece of article - We always hear about the most poor, illiterate, racist, etc. countries in the world - so for a change, it was nice to see the most educated countries in the world.  It is definitely not biased or 'rigged' because Canada is in "top 5" *gasp*

It's hard being a Vegetarian

I am one of those individuals that’s vegetarian not because of my religion but by choice.  I used to eat anything and everything, until ‘ignorance wasn’t a bliss’ anymore – I discovered exactly how animals were being treated and how we get actually got our meat (contrarily to what I believed, they’re not happy cows willing to sacrifice their lives with a smile on their face).  Anyway, once I ‘grew up’ and learned of all the cruelty in this world, I naturally stopped and gave up everything and became Vegan (until I got pregnant – then started only organic dairy products).

Superbowl fever & other rantings

While Indianapolis is getting ready for the Superbowl, people like me are getting ready to get it over with.  one of the main reasons being that I work in the heart of downtown where all the activities are happening currently.  While it is nice to see, commuting is EXTREMELY difficult with having majority of the roads closed.  Also, it's very distracting since weather is so nice and there's something going on in the downtown area ALL the time, you can hardly concentrate on work.
